Design Features This $100 million project combines world-class office space with 12, two-story brownstones and 76 luxury apartments. The low-slung auto entryway leads to three levels of underground parking and is framed by the sleek, modern brownstones. The townhomes, stepped back to minimize their visual impact, and the pedestrian-friendly styling of the brownstones conform to the village atmosphere in this part of Beverly Hills.
Obstacles/Solutions The first rental apartment complex to be developed in Beverly Hills within the past 25 years, The Crescent is located in the City’s famed “golden triangle,” where Wilshire and Crescent Drive meet. The Snyder Company focused on and met the community’s high standards of excellence in building design, minimizing impact on the neighborhood by its design, private entrances to the townhomes and underground parking.
Benefits Located within walking distance to world-class shopping and dining in the famed Rodeo Drive shopping district, The Crescent created new living and office spaces within an already extensively developed and upscale community. The development met the constraints and created residences with views of the Hollywood Hills and the mountains beyond, adding further value to the project.
